Our Core Values

Faith.

Empathy.

Shared Responsibility.

Intentionality.

We honor the power of God’s’ presence in our lives. We can do nothing apart from our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. His teachings govern the way we live, the way we serve as nurses, and the way we run our business. We value the living spirit in all people and recognize the importance of community. The Kwanzaa principle, Ujima, means to build and maintain our community together and make our brothers’ and sisters’ problems our problems and to solve them together. We uphold the responsibility of working together to transform the birthing experience of families, especially black families. We are committed to our personal self-awareness, cultural humility and embracing differences in order to provide culturally competent care to our clients.

Our Motto

“It takes a village” means everything to us. We believe that our community deserves to adopt a deeper philosophy in regards to raising a family. Yes, it takes a village to raise a child. However, we believe it also takes a village to raise a mother, a father and certainly a healthy and whole family. We desire to encourage our community to make informed decisions as it relates to their family planning and birth experience.

Our Mission

Our goal is to impact the lives of families through family planning, wellness education, and pregnancy support. At this time, we offer birth and postpartum services that include a wide range of educational resources, labor preparation and continuity of care as an extension of the familys’ chosen provider. Our long term goal is to provide a holistic community wellness and birthing center.
